About
David started playing handball at 8 years old in the same club where his father and older brother were already playing. When he started, there was not even a team for his age so had to play among kids 4 years older than him.
That led him to fast track his progression and standout in the younger teams, leading him to move to Sporting CP academy, where he played from 14 to 18, playing at national level.
After that, David moved back to his local club and tried a few other teams in the Lisbon region, till he moved to London in 2017.
After 4 seasons not playing, David joined Chelsea and got back to competitive handball.
